Pau-de-Jangada

Pau de Jangada (Apeiba tibourbou), Pente de Macaco, Cortiça, Embira Branca, Jangadeira. Tree of medium size from 10 to 15 m tall. Tree used to make Jangada rafts, and manufacturing of wood pulp, the skin is used for making ropes. Found in Cerrado biome and Atlantic Forest in Northeast Brazilian coast only.
