Macaco-Barrigudo

Macaco-barrigudo (Lagothrix lagotricha) is a primate found originally in the Brazilian Amazon. Eats leaves, fruits and flowers. Sized between 8 and 12 kg. One of the largest consumers of fruits, leaves and flowers, with a major seed disperser, preferring to live in flooded forests. Lives in groups that occupy large areas. The colours of their fur varies from orange-brown to grayish-ocre.
