The Aranha-Marron (Loxosceles spp.) is a poisonous arachnids known for their necrotizing bite. They are family members Sicariidae. The Aranha-Marron has a total length of about 7-12 mm (one third of that being the body, typically brown in colour) and six eyes – arranged in pairs – in white. Some have a drawing of a star in the cephalothorax. Occurrence  in Brazil in dark and damp environment, dry palm leaves, in bark or under them, behind furniture, attics, garages, etc.
