Jequitibá-Rosa

Jequitibá-Rosa (Cariniana legalis) also known as  Jequitibá-de-agulheiro, Jequitibá-branco, Jequitibá-cedro, Jequitibá-grande, Jequitibá-vermelho, Pau-carga, Pau-caixão, Sapucaia-de-apito.

Found in Atlantic Forest. It is considered the largest native tree of Brazil, because it can reach up to 50 meters tall and a trunk diameter of up to 7 meters. Used in boat building, framing, boxes and crates, cabinet making, flooring, furniture, heavy construction, joinery, plywood, veneer.
