Cupuaçu

Cupuaçu is the fruit form the Cupuaçuzeiro (Theobroma grandiflorum), a tropical rain forest tree related to Cacao. Native to the Amazon Forest. Cupuaçu trees usually range from 5 to 15 meters. Related to the Cacau, the Cupuaçu pulp is used to make a wide variety of beverages, preserves, and desserts.
