Jibóia

The Jiboia (Jiboia Amarali or Jiboia constrictor) is the Boa constrictor in English. It´s a large snake that has the size of 2m  to 4m , rarely reaching this maximum size. Their habitat is the treetops of the forests in the Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Caatinga and Amazon. It is basically a nocturnal animal (which is verifiable by having eyes with vertical pupils), although it also has diurnal activity. They detect prey by sensing motion and heat and surprises them in silence. It feeds on small mammals (especially rats), birds and lizards that kill by constriction, involving the body of the prey and suffocating it.
